Arthur Recreational Soccer Club (ARSC) 2026 Season News
Welcome to the 2026 soccer season. Below is some information regarding this year’s soccer season. We thank those of you who are returning from previous years and welcome all new participants.
VOLUNTEERS: Please contact by email: [email protected] if interested. Once again volunteers are required for coaching teams as well as other areas such as equipment set up and take down each week. FREE Registration for Coaches' children!
Duration: Season begins Wednesday May 27th and ends Wednesday July 29th (excluding July 1st)
When: Every Wednesday U4 (2023/2022) 6:00-6:30 ; U5 (2021) 6:00-6:45
U7 (2019/2020)6:00-7:00; U9 (2017/2018) 7:00-8:00; U13 (2016, 2015, 2014, 2013) 7:00 - 8:00
Location: Arthur Public School Fields. 155 Conestoga Street North, Arthur
Uniform Pickup: May 20th at the Arthur Arena (158 Domville Street)
Dress Code: Children are required to wear, at a minimum, their uniform shirt so that they can be identified easily by their teammates and coaches. Masking tape with their name clearly marked on them for the first few weeks would be VERY helpful. Ordinary soccer shoes are permitted for any age. NO METAL CLEATS for any players. Shin pads are not mandatory but are recommended.
Conduct: Please remind your child(ren) to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Remind them to be respectful of their coaches, fellow teammates and of the school property. Unsportsmanlike and disrespectful behaviour may result in the participant being asked to leave the school property.
Weather: We play rain or shine so please ensure children are dressed according to the weather. Soccer will only be cancelled due to severe rain, thunder/lightning or tornado warnings.
Other Reminders: . Parents should provide their children with a CLEARLY marked WATER BOTTLE for each night. Parents are responsible for SUPERVISING their own children. Parents must remain at the playing field during the entire time their child is attending. This program is intended as a RECREATIONAL and everyone is VOLUNTEERING their time, your patience and assistance is appreciated. There are NO WASHROOM facilities on site. Smoking is NOT permitted on school property.
